- Manage accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and government agencies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team.
- Coordinate with internal departments, overseas agents, and carriers to arrange bookings and schedules.
- Monitor cargo flow, track shipments, and ensure timely departures and arrivals.
-Optimize consolidation loads to maximize container and pallet utilization.
-Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support as needed.
- Ensure accurate preparation and handling of all relevant documents (AWBs, manifests, packing lists).
- Maintain compliance with customs, IATA, IMO, and other international transport regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers and compliance officers as necessary.
- Communicate with customers, agents, and carriers to resolve service issues and provide shipment updates.
· Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
· Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
· Presenting our services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
· Maintains relationships with current and future clients by providing support and assistance relative to the services offered.
· Helps identifies on product improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
· Can prepares sales reports by collecting data, analyzing target sales, and summarize quotas that are met.
